A movie tracker that stays out of your way

You watched a film six months ago and you cannot remember whether you liked it. Klaped keeps the record: every film watched, the rating you gave it, the date you saw it, and everything still waiting in your watchlist.

Rate every movie in half stars

Ratings go in half stars, from 0.5 to 5. That is the difference between a film that was fine and a film you would press on a friend, and a scale of five whole notches cannot hold it. Every film you mark as watched keeps its watch date, the one you enter rather than the day you happened to click, and you can attach a note to it: the cinema, who you were with, what stayed with you. Six months later the film page hands the rating, the date and the note back in one glance. Half star rating is part of the free plan, with no cap on how many films you rate. Nothing forces a rating either: a film can be marked as watched with no score at all, when you have no strong opinion about it.

Movie watchlist and watched films

Two piles and nothing else to manage: what you have seen, and what you want to see. A film moves from one to the other in a single tap, from its page or from swipe mode, which deals you posters and fills your watchlist in a few minutes. The watched grid filters and sorts, so finding a movie again is not an excavation. For finer shelving, custom lists hold your own themes, and each one can be shared by link with whoever you like. The free plan opens three of them, the Pro subscription makes them unlimited. Watchlist, watched films and swipe mode are free, and the watchlist has no ceiling of its own: three titles or three hundred, and nothing in it expires.

Badges and movie statistics

Once you have rated enough of them, your history starts to say something. Badges unlock as you go: a first film, a director followed all the way through, a genre explored, a national cinema discovered. They fall into five categories, quantity, activity, rating, directors and collection, with rarity tiers from common to legendary, and they are free to browse from your profile. Advanced statistics go further and belong to the Pro subscription: your watching timeline, your favourite genres, the places you watch from, your records, and a dedicated view of everything you rated 5 out of 5. If you never take Pro, you keep the tracking, the ratings, the watchlist and the badges; what comes back is the free plan's limits, ten favourites for instance, not the loss of what you entered.
